This workshop introduces illustration as a tool for visual science communication. Participants will learn how to translate their own research into clear and engaging visual representations, making complex ideas more accessible and impactful. Through examples and exercises related to human–environment relationships and planetary health we will explore how to select key elements, simplify information, and design visual narratives that make complex connections visible. No drawing experience is required; the focus is on thinking visually and communicating ideas effectively.
