Line pressure in bar
Plumbers
The plumbers are responsible for everything to do with water, waste water, gas and compressed air around the museum.
The workshop's work goes far beyond blocked pipes, even if these emergencies occur very often at peak times - and have recently been caused more and more frequently by wilful behaviour.
In addition to maintaining the sanitary facilities in the collections, the workshop is also responsible for servicing all water and compressed air-operated models. The old systems are being replaced by pneumatically operated systems, as these are much more reliable. The plumbers are converting the entire system to 8 bar line pressure because new systems - including machines in the company's own workshops - are designed for this higher pressure.
