Bricklaying workshop
The bricklaying workshop is responsible for the maintenance of the interior and exterior of all buildings of the Deutsches Museum.
In addition to the Museumsinsel, this also includes the Flugwerft Schleißheim and the Verkehrszentrum (transport museum). The workshop ensures safe access routes to the museum in all weathers. Cracked paving is repaired and winter maintenance is carried out. The bricklayers also build dust walls to protect objects during remodelling, maintain the emergency exits and carry out minor and major renovations in the museum.
