From July 3 to 5, the Festival der Zukunft at the Deutsches Museum Munich becomes a hub for cutting-edge XR art and immersive technology. As part of MUNICH Beyond 2025, the festival presents a large-scale XR exhibition spanning over 500 square meters, featuring interactive performances, VR storytelling, and immersive installations by leading international creators.
Visitors are invited to explore the creative potential of Extended Reality – from collective XR experiences that turn audiences into moving sculptures to cinematic narratives that blur the lines between film, theatre, and gaming.
This showcase is part of a joint initiative by Festival der Zukunft, Filmfest München, XR HUB Bavaria, Residenztheater, and FilmFernsehFonds Bayern, bringing together award-winning projects and rising talents from Germany, Europe, and guest country Taiwan.
