Accessibility

The Collection Building, the exhibitions and event spaces, as well as the Museum’s dining areas are all accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with mobility impairments. Accessible toilets are also available. Wheelchairs and walking frames can be borrowed free of charge from the Information Desk.

Safekeeping

Cloakroom

Our cloakroom is located one level above the Entrance Hall and is accessible by both stairs and lift. Large items of luggage can be stored there. Lockers are also available (with a €1 deposit). Small bags and rucksacks may be taken into the Museum.

Food and Drink

Catering

Our “Frau im Mond” self-service restaurant with roof terrace is located right next to the Astronautics exhibition on Level 2 and is open daily, as is our cafe in the entrance hall on Level 0. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink to eat in the Picnic Area on Level 1.

Deutsches Museum Shop

Our shop offers a wide variety of exhibition guides, catalogues and other Deutsches Museum publications, alongside a variety of books, games, gadgets and unique gifts. You can also visit the shop without a ticket, as it is located outside the Collection Building. Visit us daily from 09:00–18:00.
