Model Railway demonstration

All aboard! From routes and signals to traffic scenes – our Model Railway covers 44 square metres and is 87 times smaller than it would be in real life.

Our 1:87 scale model railway layout presents road and rail transport in action. The main focus is on the railway system– with the most realistic representation possible of the physics, technology and infrastructure involved as well as the associated train-driving operations. Buses, road sweepers and fire engines run alongside the trains, creating even more traffic on the 44-square-metre digitally controlled layout. The different modes of transport have been painted in bright colours to make them stand out, whereas the buildings and the landscape have been left in a neutral white.
