Long Night of the Museums - Deutsches Museum

Thrilling science shows, workshops, guided tours and fascinating experiments. Discover 20 permanent exhibitions and enjoy the lounge in the Aviation Hall.

The programme:

From 6 pm to 1 am, all areas of the Deutsches Museum are open – from the DNA laboratory in the entrance hall to the astronautics and agriculture exhibits on the top floor: 20 permanent exhibitions and hands-on areas focusing on science and technology can be explored in the evening atmosphere. There’s plenty of opportunity to relax too: enjoy a cold drink straight from the bar in the Luftfahrthallen Lounge.

In the Tech and Tinkering Lab, there are workshops for those who love a bit of crafting. And the science shows in the auditorium, just like the demonstrations in the Chemistry Lecture Theatre, regularly leave the audience in awe.

The Long Night at the Verkehrszentrum

Among other things, the transport centre offers a travel experience like in the days of great-grandma. You can steer a train through Berlin in the S-Bahn simulator or test future technology in the Supra-Glider. Even more mobility from yesterday, today and tomorrow can be experienced on the curator tours or during the demonstrations of steam locomotive S3/6, Puffing Billy, model railway & Co. And if you still have excess energy late at night, you can pedal on one of the "crazy" bikes in the inner courtyard.

Advance ticket sales from now on at the Deutsches Museum at the ticket offices on the Museum Island and the Transport Centre (daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Valid as an admission ticket for all participating museums and as a ticket for the MVG shuttle buses.
During the Long Night, the "Frau im Mond" is only accessible with a ticket through the museum.
The Long Night of Munich Museums is an event organised by Münchner Kultur GmbH; membership cards and annual tickets for the Deutsches Museum are not valid.
