On March 18, 2026, the interactive exhibition invites you to discover the fascinating world of electrical engineering and information technology up close. You will gain exciting insights into current research projects and learn how the Technical University of Munich is already working today to change your tomorrow.

The year 2026 is a very special one: electrical engineering and information technology have been shaping research and teaching at the university for 150 years. This success story began in 1876 with the first lecture on electrical telegraphy.

Today, the focus is on highly topical issues – from machine learning and autonomous driving to renewable energies and quantum communication.
Scientists will present their research live and vividly and look forward to curious questions and personal exchanges about today's research and its impact on tomorrow in areas such as telecommunications and neuroelectronics.
