On Saturday 26 September, Common Ears will transform the Posthof – also known as the Forum der Zukunft courtyard – into a shared listening space for eight hours of music, discovery and socialising.

The programme moves freely through different genres, eras and cultures: from ambient, spiritual jazz and Brazilian music, through soul, dub, funk and disco, to early electronic music and many other styles. The selection will be played almost exclusively on vinyl and will evolve naturally over the course of the day, moving from open, quieter moments of listening towards rhythm, groove and movement.

Common Ears is not intended as a traditional club event, but as an invitation to listen together, discover unfamiliar music and spend time with one another. Visitors are welcome to stay for a single record, a drink or the entire musical journey.

The music is presented via a sound system by Alpine Family. Drinks and Cuban food are available throughout the event. Weather notice: Indoor alternative In case of bad weather, Common Ears will move indoors to the foyer of the Forum der Zukunft. You can reach the entrance via Ludwigsbrücke
