100 years of the Deutsches Museum - the official ceremony

The Deutsches Museum on the Museumsinsel was opened on 7 May 1925. The celebrations for the 100th anniversary will be launched with an official ceremony on 5 May 2025 with guests from politics and society.

Action weekend 10/11 May, programmes, exhibitions, special tours and digital offers on 100 days around the anniversary of our exhibition building. The Deutsches Museum was opened on Munich's Museumsinsel on 7 May 1925, and in 2025 we will be celebrating its 100th birthday.
