We are celebrating 100 years of the Deutsches Museum with a big ceremony on the Museum Island for invited guests on 5 May 2025. We ask for your understanding that the museum will therefore only be open to visitors from 2pm to 5pm on this day.

The following facilities will only be open from 13:00 on this day:

Anniversary on the Museumsinsel

Action weekend 10/11 May, programmes, exhibitions, special tours and digital offers on 100 days around the anniversary of our exhibition building. The Deutsches Museum was opened on Munich's Museumsinsel on 7 May 1925, and in 2025 we will be celebrating its 100th birthday.
