Stent robot

The first anaesthesia in 1846 was a major undertaking. Today, you can marvel at how a stent can be placed in the heart with millimetre precision with the help of a robot!

  • Adults, Young people

Under the knife? A successful operation requires three things: anaesthesia to prevent pain, careful hygiene and the right equipment. Experience how the first anaesthesia was performed in 1846 and marvel at the development of this field – from amputation instruments to robot-assisted stent implantation – in less than 200 years. After a successful operation, the wound has to be sewn up again. Would you like to practise this yourself?
