The question of where our food comes from concerns us all. In the exhibition Agriculture and Nutrition you will learn where our daily bread comes from - including effects and side effects on health and the environment.

From the field to the table: on the guided tour through the exhibition Agriculture and Food you will learn more about plants, animals and machines. Farming and animal husbandry have provided "our daily bread" for thousands of years. But while almost a billion people on earth are currently starving and even more cannot eat healthily, many others live in wasteful abundance.

What prospects do science and technology offer to solve global problems? What is socially and politically desirable and possible?

When will this event take place?

You will find out every day at around 9:20 which activities are taking place in the daily programme. Our daily changing programme for individual visitors and small groups of up to five people offers guided tours, demonstrations, science shows and hands-on programmes. All programmes are in German. They begin either directly where the activity takes place or at a guided tour meeting point in the relevant exhibition.
