Electricity makes it audible!

How do you set up an electrical circuit? How does an electromagnet work, and what is a coil? And how does this relate to hearing aids?

  • Adults, Family and children, Young people

In our special program, you will experiment with a variety of electronic components and develop your own circuits. You will discover how an electromagnet works and how energy can be transmitted with 'wound' wires. Almost incidentally, you can explore what is hidden in modern hearing aids and how coils are related to the cochlear implant.

A special program of the Experimentation Workshop for World Hearing Day.

A collaboration with Audioversum and MED-EL – we thank them for their support!
