Metabolic diseases and diabetes in particular affect individuals very differently, from their causes and progression to treatment outcomes. The pop-up exhibition at the Deutsches Museum invites visitors of all ages to explore metabolic diseases from the perspectives of both patients and researchers. A game simulation of daily life with diabetes and interactive activities about nutrition, affected organs and therapeutical options make science fun and understandable for everyone. Come and discover how stem cells and organoid models are driving cutting-edge diabetes research forward.
