The Long Night of Munich's Museums on 17 October 2026, from 6 pm
A vintage car shuttle service, guided tours led by curators and much more await night owls at the Art Nouveau halls on Theresienhöhe.
The programme:
From 6 pm to 1 am, all areas of the Verkehrszentrum will be open – visitors are invited to enjoy a leisurely evening stroll through the history, present and future of mobility.
Anyone who wants to get moving – or be moved – can try out the ‘crazy’ bikes in the courtyard, have a proper jolt in the carriage simulator, or float towards the future in the ‘Supra Glider’. The photographs by Martin Roemers, presented in the special exhibition “Homo Mobilis”, are moving in a completely different way. The large-format images of people from all over the world in their vehicles are deeply moving thanks to their expressiveness and rich detail.
And last but not least, you can get to know some young people and their very fast vehicle: students from TUfast are showcasing their latest racing car and will be happy to answer any questions about the car and the project.
