Tango Nuevo is a modern development of the traditional Argentinian tango. The term literally means "new tango" and was coined in the 1950s, mainly by the Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla. He combined traditional tango with elements of jazz and classical music.

Chamber music ensembles from the Münchner Rundfunkorchester play concerts at various exhibitions.
