Cloakroom
The cloakroom and lockers are located one level above the entrance hall, the use is free of charge. You can reach level 1 by stairs or lift. For the lockers you need a €1 coin as a deposit. Backpacks and bags larger than a sheet of A4 paper must not be taken into the museum. An exception is the visit to the Kids' Kingdom. There are lockers for families and groups in the Kids' Kingdom. Backpacks and bags may be taken into the Kids' Kingdom and are not permitted in other exhibitions.

Wi-Fi
Free wi-fi on the Museum Island
M-WLAN is available in the Museum Courtyard, a service provided by the City of Munich together with the Stadtwerke München.
In the museum building itself, we can currently only offer the Deutsches Museum WLAN at the cloakroom. After the completion of the modernisation currently underway, wi-fi will be available everywhere.
In the library and archive we offer BayernWLAN for all users.

House Rules
The Deutsches Museum presents cultural assets of the highest order in its exhibition rooms. We enable our guests to have a direct encounter with top works largely without barriers, trusting that they will behave in an understanding and appropriate manner. Photography and Filming
- For private purposes: You are welcome to take photographs and film in our exhibitions - also with flash, but without tripod or selfie stick.
- Professional recordings: Do you want to take pictures for publications? Please contact our press office in advance.

Pets and Lost Property
Have you lost something in the museum? You can reach our lost property team on weekdays by phone at +49 89 2179-339 or by email at registratur@deutsches-museum.de.
Animals must remain outside. With the exception of trained assistance dogs, no animals may be brought into the museum.
