Free entry on SWM Monday

Every Monday in 2025, customers of Stadtwerke München will be able to visit the exhibitions free of charge - not only on the Museum Island, but also in the Verkehrszentrum transport museum and the Flugwerft Schleißheim aviation museum.

This is how free admission works on Monday:

Simply download the muenchen app (https://muenchen-app.swm.de/) to your mobile phone, then click on the entry ‘SWM Montagsticket - Deutsches Museum’ and buy tickets for the coming Monday. SWM customers can book up to four free Monday tickets here. Customers are anyone who has an energy contract (electricity, natural gas, district heating) with SWM and/or a subscription to MVG (including Deutschlandticket), as well as all members of the M-Fitness centres of the Munich swimming pools. A limited number of tickets are available for SWM customers each Monday at the various Deutsches Museum locations. Guests without an SWM customer number pay the regular price on that day.
