Belzebubs - The 360° Hexperience
Our New VR Experience | May 28 – July 6, 2025
Starting May 28, a unique experience is coming to our Museum of the Future: In our XR Showroom on the 3rd floor, you can dive into an animated VR concert by the fictional black metal band Belzebubs.
Belzebubs originated as a satirical webcomic by Finnish artist JP Ahonen, portraying the everyday life of a black metal family with humor and charm. The band members – Hubbath, Sløth, Obesyx, and Samaël – are stylized characters. Musically, Belzebubs draw on melodic death metal, inspired by bands like At the Gates and Amon Amarth. In 2019, the band released their debut album Pantheon of the Nightside Gods via Century Media. The musicians’ identities remain anonymous.
The 360° Hexperience is a 15-minute VR show that puts you right in the front row of a virtual metal gig. Expect stunning animations, immersive lighting, and an intense metal atmosphere – created by JP Ahonen and 3D animator Oscar Díaz Castillo.
