A small gift for International Women's Day: women and girls have free admission to the Deutsches Museum, the Transport Centre on Theresienhöhe, the Schleißheim Airfield, the Deutsches Museum Nuremberg and the Deutsches Museum Bonn. On this day, all museums offer programmes that are aimed at women or focus on women.

But free admission is not enough. Women are also the focus of the free guided tours of the departments: Female scientists and inventors in the respective fields are particularly honoured in the tours. At the Deutsches Museum's Tech and Tinkering Lab there are workshops with female microchip experts from the company Micron, and at the Deutsches Museum in Bonn there are special programmes by women for women on artificial intelligence. And on the Museum Island in Munich, there is a special evening tour for female members of the Deutsches Museum

  • All special programmes are held in German.
  • Valid for all locations of the Deutsches Museum
  • Women and girls are admitted free of charge. Men and boys are of course also welcome, but pay the regular entrance fee.
  • Free ticket available at the box office
